QMB Special Issue

JRSNZ to publish inaugural QMB 2026 Special Issue

The Journal of the Royal Society of New Zealand (JRSNZ) is delighted to partner with Queenstown Research Week 2026 to publish the inaugural companion Special Issue for the Queenstown Molecular Biology Meeting (QMB 2026).

The Special Issue will showcase novel research arising from New Zealand's premier life sciences conference. It will be guest edited by Andrew Munkacsi (VUW), Christoph Goebl (Otago), Danielle Maddock (Auckland) and Bjorn Oback (BSI).

JRSNZ is the flagship multidisciplinary journal of Royal Society Te Apārangi, published in partnership with Wiley, with an Impact Factor of 2.3. The journal is indexed in PubMed and PubMed Central, providing strong international visibility for published research. Many authors may also be eligible to publish Open Access at no cost through Wiley's transformational agreements.

The initiative aims to showcase the breadth and quality of research presented at QMB while creating a lasting scientific record of the meeting. We hope this inaugural Special Issue will become an enduring feature of Queenstown Research Week and further strengthen the connection between the conference and the Society.
